About Us
CIS started life trading as Cybertrax, trading through www.cybertrax.co.uk back in 1999. We used this as a base for our eBay shop - we then traded as a sole-trader. In 2003 we were made an offer for the domain - an offer too good to be missed. Therefore, we sold our domain to Jaguar Freight Services Limited, and transferred our business to www.cybertrax.info.
We expanded our operations, buying and selling goods online through many auction sites worldwide. These included eBay, eBid, Yahoo, Amazon, Oztion and Stuff. In 2004 we started an accelerated expansion plan, creating websites providing products and services that were in demand by our customers. We became incorporated in February 2005, and went from strength to strength. In 2007 we expanded operations into Australia with the purchase of www.cybertrax.com.au.
In 2009 we celebrated 10 years in the business. We decided to change our name in order to fit in with our sister companies and become more streamlined, and so in May 2009 we became known as Trax Websites, available at www.traxwebsites.com. However, in February 2010 our old domain name, www.cybertrax.co.uk, became available and so in April 2010 we rebranded as Cybertrax Internet Services. In 2014 the .net version of our domain become available, and so after many years of waiting we have transferred to a more globalised format, available at www.cybertrax.net. June 2018 was the time that we demerged our product-sales websites from the core business of design and hosting; and these product-sales websites are now owned by our sister company, the Zame group.
